it also isn't just linked to that region based on the reports. this exact bug you describe has been found to occur with a number of other slimes, including pink dervish, hunter tangles, dervish mosaics, rock phosphors and so forth. The best solution is probably just to move them. I've found my largos all the way in the dry reef, and there's no way they could logically get there as fast as the player can. While the answer provided by purplecharmanderz makes sense, considering Sabers also have the feline instinct, I suspect that it's more likely a teleportation glitch caused by the feline ai combined with the specific location for some reason. I kept them in the front left corral when you enter from the main ranch, but since moving them from there, I haven't experienced the problem. I usually keep 10 largos in my corrals, and with auto feeders + drones they are also well fed. However, curiously enough it was the Mosaic/Sabers that were doing it. I have Mosaic Saber largos and Tabby Phosphor largos in the Grotto. Originally posted by spaceflannel:Another player here, wanted to let you know that while this is an insanely specific problem I have been experiencing it as well. It makes more sense now that I think about it, but the plorts should've theoretically fallen straight back down? They were just sitting on the air net, something which my own experimenting has failed to do, as the walls and top should allow it to enter the pen again. Regarding the plorts: yes it was the boom corral. Possible fixes, change largo types, keep your distance a bit more or keep your visits short.Įdit: regarding the plorts, do you have booms in the area by any chance? This makes, a lot of sense, thanks. This in addition to you being near them, the quantity of slimes, the phosphor hover, and the amount of time before the feline ai wears off for another check, all translates to many hitting the air net somewhat consistently in a period of time which adds up quickly towards the hp of the air net. Tabbies, hunters and sabers have a unique aspect to their ai that wants them to get closer to the player for a playful "boop". In response, some dev teams will be taking their titles off the market to avoid this fee.Originally posted by purplecharmanderz:Presuming you are in the same area at the time and a while before hand, the issue stems more from the feline ai than anything. That being said, there will likely be a huge shift in indie development with Unity's new download fee that will go into effect at the start of 2024. In many ways, access to software like Unreal Engine and Unity has made indie development much more viable with pre-packaged tools like RPG Maker highlighting the creativity of a lot of folks. If I had to pick an expertise, I'd say it would be the diversity and development of independent games.
